We are a small Anglesey/Llandudno based charity currently consisting of four trustees – Barry, Sophie, Betty and Carys. In response to the plight of the refugees, the group formed through collecting donations of clothes, food and other essential items to ship out to the camps of Greece, Lebanon, Turkey and elsewhere. 

Our requests for donations were so successful that it wasn’t long before we decided to register as a small charity, and we were recognised by HMRC on 5 March 2016. 

On 15 July 2019 the Charity Commission recognised REFUGEE RELIEF YNYS MÔN as an established charity for the public benefit and we have been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1184413. 

Refugee Relief Ynys Môn is therefore now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
