Had it not been for RRYM, this projects would not have materialized, let alone survived up to now. As a matter of fact, one of the projects that turns out to be a community library was named ANGLESEY as tribute to the great people from that particularly special place in the Wales for their exceptional sacrifice and selflessness. From the inception of the two projects (Community library and tailoring school) in March to date, the above-mentioned people and their charity organization have been sponsoring each and every item and activity, including paying monthly wages for the the projects’ employees here, albeit from their meagre resources. They raised money for us to locally purchase books for the library here. In addition to that, they collected, donated, arranged and sent books from as far as the Wales to Uganda, and also paid for the shipping and transportation of the same books (25 30KG boxes to be precise) to their final destination here in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement. On top of that, they bought sewing machines and furniture for the tailoring project, and also furnished the community library with all the necessary furniture. They went on to fund the construction of the two semi-permanent structures that are currently housing the two projects.
