Refugee Relief Ynys Môn

We are a small Anglesey/Llandudno based charity currently consisting of four individuals – Barry, Heulwen, Betty and Carys. We were all so moved by the plight of the refugees that we came together to collect donations of clothes, food etc to ship out to the camps and squats in Greece, Lebanon, Turkey and elsewhere.
Our requests for donations were so successful that it wasn’t long before we decided to register as a small charity, and we were recognised by HMRC on 5 March 2016.

On 15 July 2019 the Charity Commission recognised REFUGEE RELIEF YNYS MÔN as an established charity for the public benefit and we have been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1184413.
Refugee Relief Ynys Môn is therefore now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).

We’d like to thank all our supporters for your help in reaching this important milestone. This will hopefully enable us to grow and offer help to even more of the people who so desperately need our support.
